We recorded three new songs with Bart at House of Faith. Mastering is in the works. Look for it on vinyl. Yeah, that's right! Vinyl! Don't worry, interweb nerds, we'll be offering the songs up digital-style as well.

Have you picked up your copy of our new record? You can get one at any of our shows. Or trek down to Streetlight Records in San Jose.

Sing along with the new record. Check out the lyrics

Hot damn! New record is done. We have 'em. Do you? OK, we still need to get them into stores both local and virtual. Look for it soon at Streetlight Records.

We've got a party to invite you to. It's on Friday, April 20th at the Claran Lounge in Santa Clara. This is a double CD release show with us and Something for the Broken. And if that weren't enough, Jonny Manak & the Depressives—who also have a new record out—will rock the show. And Last Chance from Sacto will be on the bill, too. "Shit hot" is the term you're looking for.

Sing along with the new record. Check out the lyrics

Well friends, we've finished our first weekend of recording at The Compound. Many thanks to Joe for all his hard work. And ofr putting up with our nonsense. Next on the agenda are the vocal tracks. Then some mixing. If all things go well, look for a new Cova record in June.

Cova interviewed! Please take a moment and visit dumpinabox for the first ever Cova interview. And keep reading. DIAB has some good stuff there. Bookmark it, people.

New album! Looks like April is the magic month. We'll be heading into the studio to record our full-length record with Joe Clements at The Compound. Looking forward to sharing the music with all of you.

Happy New Year people. Let's do it this year. Fuck the naysayers.

Oh man, the holidays are coming fast! We hope you and yours have a good one. And please remember those who don't have as much as we do. Donate where you can!

Happy Halloween, friends.

What's new in the Cova camp? We're getting ready to record a full-length record. More details to follow.

Send us an email to let us know you're still alive.

What a great show! First off, we'd like to thank Justin for setting it all up. Everyone from Thrush to Runaway Tim to Aroarah to Project Lost tore it up. Greg and John from Royal Hooligan Clothing came out to support and sling their merch. If you don't have a Hooligan tee, you're lagging. Check them out on Myspace.com/royalhooligan. And if all that weren't enough, we raised $100 toward the hurricane relief effort. Nice work everyone.

No, we're not dead. Weddings and what not are winding down. So look for our triumphant(?) return in July...bitches.

Yes...the The Blank Club show this past Friday. We were really stoked to see all of you. Thanks a million for coming out early (OK, so 10pm isn't that early) and checking us out. We very much appreciate you guys. In the beginnings of a band, you end up playing to your friends quite a bit. And you guys and gals have always made it out. Kick ass!

We'd also like to thank the Blank Club for giving us the chance to play. Having seen so many shows at that club (and having consumed so much alcohol), it was rad to have our turn on the stage. Extra special thanks to Chris for the sound.

Many, many thanks to all our friends who trekked down to Gilroy this past Friday. It was a great show not because of us, but because of you! Heist at Hand rocked our asses. Sarai's Spine soothed the asses that had just been kicked. We always, always love playing with our friends Splitting Seconds because yes, they're that fucking good. And Relapse closed out the night (sorry guys, you are un-Google-able).

Are we rubbing it in your face that you missed a great show? Maybe. Are we using our News section to hype other bands? Well, when they're all this good, fuck yeah. Click on the links and enjoy.

We're playing the The Blank Club this friday and we'd be stoked if you could make it out to the show. Check out the experience section for details.

T-shirts are in! And we have them in all sorts of sizes and colors. We'll have them at the shows along with demos, stickers, buttons, and more. And know this: all our gear will be available on this site very soon!

1.13.05
We're booking some shows, so we hope to see your smiling faces soon. Check the experience section for up-to-the-minute listings.

We're in the process of ordering some cool-ass shirts, stickers, and buttons. We're also buring up another batch of the EP. Keep an eye out for those. Once we're rolling on the merch front, you'll be able to order it all right from this site using PayPal.

We do our best to update the site, but with this damn interweb thing, you never know where the infowill be flowed. To cover all your bases, join the Cova Yahoo! Group and/or add us to your MySpace Friends List. Thanks!

First things first...we hope you all have a kick-ass holiday. And remember, there are people out there whose lives suck a lot more than yours. So give if you can. We were hoping to do our Holiday Food-For-Merch thing, but we lack the shows and the schwag to pull it off. Next year, kids.

We've put up our songs on GarageBand.com. All in all, a good response. We've been awarded a few Track of the Days. But really, it's nothing more than a musical circle jerk. Don't let that deter you from posting your own shit up there. It's a unique way to get your shit reviewed by clueless pre-teens or bitter old guitar players.

12.13.04
Whew! Sorry everyone. We haven't been updating this site much. But that is about to change. We're doing our best to book some shows. We've got so many songs to play for you, it's almost makes our humble 3-song demo pointless. But not so pointless that we won't accept a meager $2 donation should you want to get your hands on one. As always, CDs and buttons are available at the shows. We'll be adding a merch section soon complete with a PayPal shopping cart and more. Keep your eyes peeled.

For even more up-to-date Cova info, visit our page on MySpace.com.

We've added some shows to thw experience page. Hope to see you all at one or more. Oh, and Happy Valentine's Day people.

02.05.04
We've finished our 3-song demo. Many thanks must go to Andy and his AK47 Studio. We should have CDs available at our upcoming shows. Your $2 gets you a button and a demo. If you just can't wait, download the mp3s in our hear section.

Speaking of shows, if you have an "in" at your local venue, we'd be very appreciative if you'd keep us in mind. You know us...we'll play any time, any place. Direct any input you may have to booking@covamusic.com. Thanks!
